ESG Data in Eikon/Datastream Online
Eikon and Datastream are two of the key sources when it comes to ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) data. The ESG data is extracted and standardized from publicly available sources as annual reports, NGO websites and CSR, Corporate Social Responsibility Reports, and collected from the companies.
Environmental, social and governance (ESG) refers to the three central factors in measuring the sustainability and ethical impact of an investment in a company or business.
In this presentation, you will get an overview of the ESG data in Eikon/Datastream. You will learn how to find the data, and how to extract the data to Excel.
Basic functionality in Eikon/Datastream will not be covered in the presentation. For an introduction, we refer to the course Getting Started with Eikon and Datastream.
