How to Structure a Research Paper In-Person
A research paper should present a logical line of argument in a series of coherent paragraphs, organized into sections. For each section, you want to have a good sense of what you are trying to say and what you are basing it on. This talk will go through a standard outline that you can adapt to your own ends.
This talk is part of the Craft of Research Series. Throughout the spring, we are holding talks every Wednesday evening on various aspects of the research and writing process to help you complete your year-end projects. Whether it's your first project or your final master's thesis, there will be something for you in these talks. Each talk lasts approximately one hour, with plenty of time for questions afterwards.
Please note that this course may be recorded. For further information, please consult the CBS Privacy Policy.
