How to build leadership theory from interactional data

A leadership research workshop

IOA research groups Work, Expertise, Technology and Organization (WETO) and People and Organization (PnO) are happy to invite you to a leadership research workshop with inputs from Stephanie Schnuur, PhD, Professor at U o Warwick, Johan Alvehus, PhD, Professor at Lund U and Frank Meier, PhD, Associate Professor at CBS, moderated by Christian Dyrlund Wåhlin-Jacobsen, PhD, Associate Professor, CBS.

What can you expect from the workshop?

In this workshop we wish to share and debate how data generated through organizational discourse, communication and interaction may be appropriate empirical inroads into contemporary leadership phenomena like gender and in/exclusion (Stephanie), lies, power and politics (Johan) and leadership work in the digitalized organization (Frank).

We do not attempt to cover these topics, rather to invite into exploration of how what could appear as 'micro' oriented analytical strategies may nevertheless claim a seat at the table with allegedly more 'macro' leadership research literatures and themes.

Everybody is warmly welcome, very much including early career colleagues.
