Supercomputers let you analyze large amounts of data and execute complex computations much faster than you would otherwise be able to. While they were once difficult to use, and only accessible to a select few, nowadays all CBS researchers can have the power of high-performance computing at their fingertips.
In this session we will cover:
- Overview of the national HPC facilities and the resources that are available to researchers at CBS
- We provide an in-depth introduction to the UCloud platform (Type-1 HPC)
- Run our 1st job on UCloud
- Using Conda for efficient library/package management on UCloud
- Introduction to parallel programming
