WRDS is a web-based business data research service. It offers deep archives of historical financial, accounting, banking, economics, management, and marketing data.
This session contains a basic introduction to WRDS including an overview of the content and the basic search functionalities. There will be a more detailed presentation of CRSP and Compustat – a financial database from Standard & Poor’s.
