ORBIS is CBS Library's major database when it comes to information on private and public-listed companies. It is a company database comprising information about more than 400 million companies worldwide. Data include financial information with a 10-year window for listed companies and a 5-year window for all other companies, industry affiliation, ownership, brief accounts of company history and main activities, contact information, and management and board member directory.
ORBIS was previously owned by Bureau van Dijk (BvD) but is now owned by Moody's.
This is part 1 of Orbis presentation. Part 2 will include Orbis M&A and Orbis IP.
