How to Write a Research Project In-Person
Scholarship is a conversation among knowledgeable people. Writing a research project teaches you how to participate in that conversation, and in this talk you will learn how to imagine your reader and develop an effective rhetorical posture in your prose, solidly grounded in your sources.
It is the first talk in the Craft of Research Series. Throughout the spring, we will hold a talk every week on various aspects of the research and writing process to help you complete your year-end projects. Whether it's your first project or your final master's thesis, there will be something for you in these talks. Each talk lasts approximately one hour, with plenty of time for questions afterwards.
