Write a Data Management Plan for your Research Project

Write a Data Management Plan for your Research Project Online

Data are central to your research, but managing them responsibly before, during, and after your project can be complex. Many researchers struggle with questions like how to document data, ensure secure storage, or plan for sharing and archiving.

Without a clear plan, data can become disorganized, insecure, or even unusable, slowing down your research, making collaboration harder, and complicating compliance with funder requirements.

A data management plan (DMP) helps you address these issues systematically.

In this hands-on session, we’ll:

  • Explore different DMP templates and their uses
  • Get introduced to DMPonline, a free tool from DeIC
  • Learn practical steps to keep your data organized and compliant throughout its lifecycle
  • Start drafting a DMP tailored to your current project

Sign up and make research data management a structured and stress-free part of your work.

Optional: For preparation, you can watch modules 1 and 3 of our RDM eLearning course.
