CBS has an ambitious AI strategy, which among other things focuses on competence development for administrative staff and local experiments with artificial intelligence in all administrative units.

As part of this strategy, all technical-administrative staff (TAP) are required to participate in a basic course on artificial intelligence between October and December 2025. The course takes 1.5 hours.

Topics covered in the introductory course include:

• Generative AI and language models
• Tools such as Copilot, Microsoft 365, ChatGPT, and others
• Ethical and legal aspects: GDPR, data management, the AI Act, and copyright
• The potential of AI in daily work and for increased efficiency

The basic course is the first step in a broader competence development initiative, which in 2026 will be expanded with targeted courses, workshops, and guidance tailored to employees and units.
