Copilot Chat: Introduction Course for TAP Employees (In English) In-Person

CBS has an ambitious AI strategy, which among other things focuses on skills development for administrative staff and local experiments with artificial intelligence in all administrative units.

As part of this strategy, all TAP employees must attend an introductory course on Copilot Chat. The course lasts 1.5 hours (90 minutes).

Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop and to check in advance that they can log in with their CBS account at m365.cloud.microsoft.com.

The topics covered in the introductory course are:

  • Prompting: how to ask effective questions and get more useful answers

  • Copilot features and demo: key functions, how to get started, and what to look for in the interface

  • Tips, pitfalls, and quality assurance: why Copilot can “guess,” and how to check and improve the output

  • Examples and exercises (use cases): e.g., a news item, an email, and working with data by uploading files

  • Personalization: brief settings and custom instructions

The course alternates between slides, live demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, and is the first step in a broader skills development initiative. More targeted learning opportunities will be offered afterwards (including a workshop for those who want to go deeper with M365 Copilot).
